Carolyn Christov-BakargievGermany

Carolyn Christov-Bakargiev is a curator, author and researcher into artistic practices, the histories of art and the politics of aesthetics. She was Artistic Director of dOCUMENTA (13) from 2009–12, which took place in Kassel, Germany, from June 9 – September 16, 2012. Portions of the project were located also in Afghanistan, Egypt and Canada. Previously, she was Artistic Director of the 16th Biennale of Sydney: “Revolutions - Forms That Turn” (2008), and Chief Curator at the Castello di Rivoli Museum for Contemporary Art (2002–08, interim director in 2009). She was Senior Curator at P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center – a MoMA affiliate, New York, from 1999–2001. Her books include William Kentridge (1998), Arte Povera (1999), and for dOCUMENTA (13) the 100 Notes – 100 Thoughts series as well as The Book of Books (2011–12). Previous group exhibitions include “The Moderns”, Turin (2003), “Faces in the Crowd”, London and Turin (2004), "Citta' Natura" (1997), and "Molteplici Culture" (1992).
Agnaldo FariasBrasil
Agnaldo Farias is Professor of Architecture and Urbanism College of the University of Sao Paulo (Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo - Universidade de Sao Paulo - FAUUSP), critic and curator. Currently is consultant curator of Instituto Tomie Ohtake, Sao Paulo. He was curator of the 11th Biennale of Cuenca, Ecuador (2011); with Moacir dos Anjos he made the Brazilian representation of the Biennale of Venice and together they were Chief Curators of the 29th Biennale of Sao Paulo (2010). He was Chief Curator also of the Museum of Modern Art of Rio de Janeiro (MAM-RJ - 1998-2000) and Curator of Temporary Exhibitions of Museum of Contemporaneous Art of the University of Sao Paulo (MAC-USP - 1990-1992).

Massimiliano Gioni is the Associate Director of the New Museum in New York and the Artistic Director of the Nicola Trussardi Foundation in Milan. He is currently the director of the 55th Venice Biennale, which will open in 2013.
Gioni has curated numerous international large scale exhibitions, including the 8th Gwangju Biennale in 2010; the 4th Berlin Biennale in 2006 (with Maurizio Cattelan and Ali Subotnick); and Manifesta 5 in 2004 (with Marta Kuzma).
At the New Museum Gioni has organized various group shows, including "Ghosts in the Machine" (2012), "Ostalgia" (2011), "After Nature" (2008) and has curated solo shows by Lynda Benglis, Paul Chan, Tacita Dean, Urs Fischer, Carsten Höller, Klara Liden, Gustav Metzger, Apichatpong Weerasethakul.
In Milan with the Trussardi Foundation he has organized large scale exhibitions and public art projects with - among others: Pawel Althamer, John Bock, Fischli and Weiss, Paul McCarthy, Paola Pivi, Pipilotti Rist, Anri Sala, Tino Sehgal.
With Maurizio Cattelan and Ali Subotnick, Gioni has founded non-for-profit space The Wrong Gallery and the magazines Charley and the Wrong Times.
Carol Yinghua LuChina
Carol Yinghua Lu is a curator and writer based in Beijing.
Lu was a participant of the Critical Studies Program at Malmo Art Academy in Sweden. She is a contributing editor for Frieze. She writes frequently for international art journals and magazines including e-flux journal, The Exhibitionist, Yishu, and Tate Etc.
She was a jury member for the 2011 Venice Biennale’s Golden Lion Award. She was the co-artistic director for the 9th Gwangju Biennale 2012. Together with Liu Ding, she's co-curated the 7th Shenzhen Sculpture Biennale 2012 titled Accidental Message: Art is Not a System, Not a World as well as a research-based project titled Little Movements: Self-Practices in Contemporary Art, which will tour to Museion, Bolzano, Italy in 2013.
Hans Ulrich ObristUnited Kingdom

Hans Ulrich Obrist is Co-director of the Serpentine Gallery in London. Prior to this, he was Curator of the Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville in Paris. Obrist has co-curated over 250 exhibitions since his first exhibition, the Kitchen show (World Soup) in 1991. He has contributed to over 200 book projects; his recent publications include A Brief History of Curating, Project Japan: Metabolism Talks with Rem Koolhaas, Ai Wei Wei Speaks, along with two volumes of his selected interviews.
In 2011, Obrist was awarded both the Bard College Award for Curatorial Excellence and the Swiss Institute Honoree Award.
Eckhard SchneiderUkraine
Eckhard Schneider is General Director of the PinchukArtCentre in Kiev, Ukraine, since 2008.
After being director of several institutions in Germany, he was Director of the Kunsthaus Bregenz, Austria, from 2000 to 2008 which he established as reference for contemporary art in dedicating Peter Zumthor’s sublime, minimalist building to inspire artists and their work. Among others he put on solo shows by D. Buren, O. Eliasson, J. Koons, H. Sugimoto, D. Gordon, L. Bourgeois, P. Huyghe, D. Aitken, M. Mori, F. West, A. Kapoor, J. Holzer, T. Demand, R. Whiteread, R. Lichtenstein, T. Sehgal, C. Sherman, P. Zumthor, M. Cattelan, C. Hoeller, R. Serra, J. Fabre, A. Gormley, T. Oursler and shows like Reobject with D. Hirst, J.Koons, G. Merz, M. Duchaump and Mythos with J. Beuys, D. Gordon, M. Barney, C. Twombly.
Eckhard Schneider was a member of several international committees and juries like the DAAD program in Berlin and the Turner Prize in London. He has written extensively on modern art and is editor of more then 100 publications about the work of leading contemporary artists.
Nancy SpectorUSA
Nancy Spector received her M.Phil. in art history from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. She is Deputy Director and Chief Curator of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation, where she has organized exhibitions on Felix Gonzalez-Torres, conceptual photography, Matthew Barney's Cremaster Cycle, Richard Prince, Louise Bourgeois, Tino Sehgal, and Maurizio Cattelan. She co-organized Moving Pictures and Singular Forms (Sometimes Repeated). She also organized the group exhibition theanyspacewhatever, which focused on the art of the 1990s.
She was one of the curators of Monument to Now, an exhibition of the Dakis Joannou Collection, which premiered in Athens as part of the Olympics program.
Spector was Adjunct Curator of the 1997 Venice Biennale and co-organizer of the first Berlin Biennial in 1998. In 2007 she was the U.S. Commissioner for the Venice Biennale, where she presented an exhibition of work by Felix Gonzalez-Torres. Under the auspices of the Deutsche Guggenheim, Berlin, she has initiated special commissions by Andreas Slominski, Hiroshi Sugimoto, Lawrence Weiner, and Gabriel Orozco, as well as a special exhibition on the work of Joseph Beuys and Matthew Barney.
Spector has also contributed to numerous books on contemporary visual culture with essays on artists such as Maurizio Cattelan, Luc Tuymans, Douglas Gordon, Tino Sehgal, and Anna Gaskell.
Spector is a recipient of the Peter Norton Family Foundation Curators Award.
